AI automation for SMEs in Switzerland

Grafwerk is more than websites. AI automation here does not mean “robots in the business”, but: we look at your repetitive office work and hand the dull parts of it over to software. No big project, no new company software, but small, documented processes that run in the background and give you back hours every week.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need new company software for this?
As a rule, no. We work with what you already use, that is email, calendar, accounting, website, and connect these tools. New software only comes in if it clearly pays off.
What happens to my data and that of my customers?
We clarify before building which data is actually needed and keep it as sparing as possible. Where confidential data is involved, we choose services with processing in Switzerland or Europe and record it in writing.
Is it worth it for a small business too?
Often precisely there, because in small businesses the same person does everything. If a process saves two hours a week, it usually pays for itself within a few months. Whether that is the case for you is shown honestly by the automation check, even if the answer is sometimes no.
What AI automation really means in the daily life of an SME
Most businesses lose time not on difficult tasks, but on many small, uniform ones: copying enquiries from the form into a list by hand, assembling quotes from text blocks, confirming appointments, filing invoices, cropping images for the website, preparing posts for social media. That is exactly where automation starts.
A typical example: an enquiry comes in via your website. Instead of you typing it out, it lands automatically in your list, is sorted by type of job, and you get a finished draft reply that you only need to check and send. You keep the decision, the machine takes the preparation off your hands.
The automation check: look first, then build
We do not start with technology, but with your working day. In the automation check we go through together which tasks repeat weekly at your place, how long they take and which of them can be automated cleanly. Afterwards you receive a written evaluation: which processes are worthwhile, roughly what they cost and how much time they are likely to save. The check costs CHF 490 and is credited against an implementation.
Implementation happens in small steps. We build one process, let it run along for a few weeks and see whether it holds up in daily life. Only then does the next one follow. That way it stays comprehensible at all times what happens in the background, and you never sit in front of a black box nobody understands any more.
Honestly: where AI helps and where it does not
AI is good at preparing, sorting, summarising and drafting. It is not good at taking responsibility. That is why we build processes on principle so that at the end a human confirms before anything goes out to customers. Anyone promising you that AI will run your business on its own is selling you a story.
Just as honestly on data protection: before anything is built, we clarify which data is processed at all and where it is stored. Confidential customer data does not belong in some service without asking. Where necessary, processing and storage stay in Switzerland or Europe. Automation you cannot defend legally afterwards is no saving.
